Solar
Panels sized for your roof and your usage — not a sales target.
Solar only pays off if it's the right size for how your home actually uses power. We work that out from your real half-hourly data first, then design a system to match. No guessing, no oversizing to pad the quote.

What solar actually does
Make your own electricity, use more of it, buy less from the grid
Solar panels turn daylight into electricity your home can use straight away. Anything you don't use in the moment goes back to the grid. The value is simple: every unit you make and use yourself is a unit you don't have to buy.
So the real question isn't "how many panels can fit on the roof" — it's how much of what they make you'd actually use. That's what turns panels into savings, and it's exactly what your data tells us.

Why sizing matters
Two homes with the same bill can need very different systems
A home that's busy during the day uses solar as it's made. A home that's empty until 6pm sends most of it back to the grid for far less than it costs to buy. Same annual bill, completely different sums.
We read your load shape
Your half-hourly data shows when you use power across the day and year — the pattern a good system is built around.
We size the panels to it
Enough to make a real difference, not so many that half the output is sold back cheaply. The right number, shown with the working.
We tell you the real payback
A genuine payback figure from your own numbers — and if it doesn't stack up for your home, we say so.
The British weather question
Yes, it works when it's cloudy
Panels generate from daylight, not direct sun, so they still produce on a grey day — just less than on a bright one. That's not a caveat we hide; it's built into the numbers. We size every system from a full year of real weather and real usage, not one good afternoon.
If a company's numbers only work on a sunny-day assumption, that's worth a second look. Ours don't.
How we do it
Done properly, and itemised in full
You see exactly what you're paying for — no vague "system price" hiding the detail.
- A free analysis of your real data before anything is quoted
- A survey and design with the founder — on your roof, not a template
- Quality panels and inverter, specified to suit the job
- A fixed, itemised quote that doesn't move once issued
- Tidy installation, done to the standard we'd want at home
- Monitoring and an annual review so it keeps performing
