The short version
This is a simple website. It does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any other tracking. We don't build a profile of you, and we don't share your browsing with advertisers. There's one thing worth explaining plainly: the site loads its fonts from Google, which means your browser quietly makes a request to a Google server. That's covered below.
Because we don't use analytics or marketing cookies, there's no cookie banner asking you to accept them — there'd be nothing to accept. If that ever changes, we'll add proper controls and update this page first.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website can store in your browser, often used to remember you or to measure how a site is used. Similar technologies (like data stored locally in your browser) work the same way. This policy covers all of them.
Cookies this site sets
None for tracking or analytics. This is a static site with no login, no shopping basket and no analytics installed, so we don't set cookies to identify you or follow you around the web.
Google Fonts — a request to Google
The site uses two typefaces (Inter and Space Grotesk) that are loaded from Google's font service rather than stored on our own server. When your browser builds the page, it asks Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) for those font files.
To do that, your browser has to connect to Google, which means Google receives the technical information needed to answer the request — such as your IP address and details about your browser. Google provides these fonts as a service; how Google handles that information is set out in Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We don't control it, and we don't receive this information ourselves.
We're flagging this because it's the one external request the site makes, and we'd rather be straight about it than pretend nothing leaves your browser. [TODO — for maximum privacy, consider self-hosting the fonts so no request is made to Google; a decision for review.]
If we add analytics later
If we ever add analytics (for example, to understand which pages people find useful) or any other cookies, we'll list them here in plain terms — what they are, what they do, and how long they last — and we'll add a way to control non-essential cookies before switching them on. This page will always be the accurate record of what the site does.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before storing them. Because this site doesn't rely on cookies, blocking them won't stop it working. Guidance for common browsers is available on their own help pages.
